National Poetry Month

I’m poetry festival bound but first I stop at Pershing Square, right across the street from Grand Central Station’s Vanderbilt Hall entrance.  It is time for steaming cup of that deep, dark, rich LaVazza coffee and some serious morning chow time.

After breakfast I plan to walk east on 42nd towards the East River, turn right on 3rd avenue and head south until I get close to 33rd.  At that point i will head east again for the ferry that will take me over to Hunter’s Point Park to hear great poetry and great music at the Queens Lit Fest!  National Poetry Month is coming to a close and what better way to close it out by starting my day with coffee, corn beef hash with eggs, a city walk in New York City and a poetry festival overlooking the east river and the city skyline!  Yum, Yum, Yum.
