For my friends who like train rides, the

Hudson Valley Writers Center is right at the Philipse Manor, Metro North (Hudson Line) train stop. You just step off the train and Wah Lah, the gorgeous center is right there. The ride along the Hudson River—northbound from NYC or southbound from Beacon is lovely!

My Last Post Celebrating Black History Month

My Last Post Celebrating Black History Month

On this day, February 28th

Feb. 28, 1932 – Richard Spikes invented/patented the automatic gear shift.

Although we should always remember the accomplishments and contributions made by African Americans to our country and to the world, in my opinion the month of February represents a time of special commemoration! I appreciate all the comments and responses to my posts!
