The Nakedness of Arrogance

seems there are gods and lords
ruling parts of this world
as the wide gap between
rich and poor widens more
as rifts between classes
rupture open loudly
we stand gazing
with mouths agape
astonished at the stark,
pompous gait of their
brash nakedness

Now: the way I would write it now:

The Nakedness of Arrogance

seems gods, lords
rule large parts this world.
wide gaps rich and poor
widens, rifts classes,
ruptures loudly. we gaze,
mouths agape at stark
pompous gaits and much
brash nakedness
