A.i. Firefly was born at the tail end of the 1970s in the suburbs of NYC. Amy Barone’s new poetry collection, Defying Extinction, will be published by Broadstone Books in summer 2022. New York Quarterly Books published her collection, We Became Summer, in 2018. Barone’s poetry has appeared in Local Knowledge, New Verse News, Paterson Literary Review, Sensitive Skin, and Standpoint (UK), among other publications.
