Editing

Outdoor seating in Connecticut opened up two weeks ago. I go to a little cantina, a mile from me, to edit some of my new work. I maintain social distance. I leave long before a crowd shows up. Working on one of my Epics – “My First Day Flying” a long poem!

Although I Should Not Have To!

Although I Should Not Have To!

My poem titled “Although I Should Not Have To” was published in the Burningword Literary Journal back in the summer of 2018.

Rarely, very rarely, do I read a piece like this in public because it speaks directly to our problems with racism. I simply feel like sharing it today. Here’s a recording of me reading it. Please feel free to share.
