Homemade Corned Beef, Potatoes, Cabbage, Carrots, pressure cooked —with my own made from scratch spice packet —consisting of Bay Leaves, Coriander, Peppercorn Mélange,Turmeric, Red Pepper Flakes, Cumin. I used beef broth, but water would have worked well also. This one turned out so well, I could cut the corned beef with a plastic butter knife!
Microwave a cup of chicken or vegetable broth for one minute then stir 2 to 3 tablespoons of cornstarch in the hot broth. The corn starch melds in the broth. Pour the broth into your stew and stir. This technique works well with thickening pinto beans too.
