C.O. Moed grew up on New York’s Lower East Side when it was still a tough neighborhood.  A recipient of the Elizabeth George Grant for Fiction and an alum of the WOW Café, her work has appeared in various presses and anthologies, including the Silver Tongued Devil Anthology; Thorn Literary Magazine; Unexpected Stories; and Sensitive Skin.

Linda was one of six local poets invited to read at the Americas Poetry Festival of New York 2021.  She’s hosted readings at the Playhouse Theater, New York City Poetry Festival, 6BC Botanical Garden, and Black & White. She’s published in The Best American Poetry, Brooklyn Rail, The Observer, Sensitive Skin Magazine, Yahoo! Life & LiveMag! Active in NYC experimental theater in the 80’s, she performed with many innovative downtown theater artists in venues that ranged from the Performing Garage to Broadway. Dorothy returns to the stage occasionally, most recently in a Retrospective of Jeff Weiss’ Work at the Kitchen, in Bill Considine’s Persephone Returns and in Boog City Poets Theater. Her poetry and short fiction have been published in The Long Island Literary Journal, Brownstone Poets Anthology, Constellate Literary Journal, Flash Boulevard, Assisi: an Online Journal of Arts and Letters, River and South Review, Poetrybay, Walt’s Corner, and Angel City Review. She cries when she drinks gin.
